Not sure if it's just me, but LinkedIn's algorithm has been flooding my feed with SIEM Magic Quadrant posts this past week. Here are some standout articles I've read on the topic.
First, huge congrats to the Panther team (Jack Naglieri William H. Lowe and team) - if you missed the news, they acquired Datable. This is quite exciting! I've been using Panther for almost 2 years now and it's been my favorite SIEM. With this acquisition, I think they'll gain even better capabilities on the data pipeline side.

Great writeup, and congrats to the Google SecOps team as well - from a nice SIEM player, they're now one of the leaders. I had a chance to see the platform grow from the early days (even used the beta version pre-release and watched it evolve after acquiring Siemplify into what is now a unified platform).
I predicted at DefCamp last year that next-gen SIEMs need SOAR as core functionality, and Anton's post confirms this trend. So I think if we both say it, it's a done deal - you need SOAR baked into your SIEM if you want to be up there with the leaders 😅 https://lnkd.in/dere3y9v
Mark my words: prepare for the first wave of AI SOC acquisitions by SIEM vendors next year. AI SOC capabilities will become the next core feature, probably by late 2026-2027.

Great overview and I like his perspective as well. What I agree with here is that we do see the same vendors every year, but there are some really promising players changing the game with impressive tech. Beyond Panther, I'd also add Anvilogic, Hunters, and Sentinel One to that list.
